Operator and scope
These draft terms describe the proposed conditions for using Musubi, a workspace for startups, investors, and funds operating from Athens, Greece. The operator’s registered legal name, address, registration details, and business contact must be inserted before these terms take effect.
Musubi is intended for adults using the service for professional or business purposes. You must have authority to act for the organization you represent. Any mandatory rights that apply to an individual consumer remain unaffected; describing the service as business-oriented does not remove those rights.
Accounts and access
Provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and use only accounts and workspaces you are authorized to access. Tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate organization memberships and for activity you authorize.
Some accounts, listings, or features require approval or a subscription. Approval confirms platform access, not endorsement, regulatory authorization, financial strength, or the accuracy of an organization’s claims. Roadmap descriptions and illustrative previews are not commitments that a feature is currently available.
What Musubi provides
The platform helps users discover funding opportunities, maintain profiles, exchange structured applications and reviews, follow milestones, and use assessment and workspace tools. Users remain responsible for their communications, due diligence, investment decisions, and agreements with counterparties.
Information, fit scores, benchmarks, and assessments are informational. They are not individualized investment, legal, tax, accounting, or employment advice. Musubi does not guarantee a match, funding, return, successful introduction, or other commercial outcome. Investment-related activity may require separate agreements and regulatory permissions; these terms do not establish that Musubi is licensed to provide a regulated investment or crowdfunding service.
Before relying on a score or financial model, review the underlying inputs and assumptions. Platform commitments and workflow statuses must not be treated as proof that funds have transferred or that a legally binding investment agreement exists.
Your information and other people’s data
You retain rights in information you submit. You permit Musubi to host, process, display, and share it as reasonably needed to provide the features you use, subject to permissions, sharing choices, and applicable law. This permission does not transfer ownership of your business information.
Only submit content you are entitled to use and disclose. Do not misrepresent financial performance, impersonate others, publish unlawful content, infringe intellectual property, or disclose confidential information without authority. Public profiles are not confidential channels; use care when choosing what to publish.
Personal data is addressed in the Privacy Policy. Organizations providing personal information about staff, founders, candidates, or contacts must meet their own transparency and lawful-processing duties. Where a processor relationship exists, a separate data processing agreement is required.
Subscriptions and fees
The applicable price, currency, taxes, billing interval, renewal conditions, included features, and cancellation terms must be shown before a paid order is confirmed. Homepage illustrations or future pricing descriptions do not replace the terms of your order. Payments use the configured payment provider, currently Stripe.
Cancel renewal through the available billing portal or contact support if you cannot access it. The effective cancellation date and any continued access depend on the confirmed order and mandatory law. These draft terms do not impose a blanket no-refund rule.
An introduction or success fee applies only where separately disclosed and expressly agreed, including its payer, calculation, qualifying transaction, payment trigger, and any applicable taxes. A website mention of a percentage alone is not a complete success-fee agreement. Changes to recurring prices require advance notice and any legally required right to reject or cancel.
Acceptable use and moderation
Do not bypass access controls, scrape personal information without authorization, send spam, upload malicious code, overload the service, manipulate assessments, or use the platform for fraud or unlawful discrimination. Respect other users and their confidentiality.
Report suspected illegal content, misuse, or a disputed restriction to hello@musubi.vc with the relevant page or record, an explanation, and contact details. We may restrict content or access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or a material breach. Where lawful and practicable, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to respond or seek review. Urgent action may be required for immediate risks. Applicable statutory notice and complaint rights remain available.
Availability, closure, and responsibility
Services may be interrupted for maintenance, incidents, or provider outages. We will use reasonable care in operating the platform but do not promise uninterrupted availability or that third-party information is correct. Keep independent copies of important business records.
You may request account closure through support. Closure does not automatically cancel a separate contract with another user or eliminate payment obligations already incurred. Data export and erasure requests are handled under the Privacy Policy, subject to other users’ rights and applicable retention obligations.
Each party remains responsible for loss caused by its breach of these terms or applicable law. Nothing excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or intentional misconduct and mandatory consumer or data-protection rights. Any negotiated business liability limits must be clearly set out in an applicable written agreement.
Applicable law and changes
This draft assumes a Greek operator and proposes Greek law, together with directly applicable EU law. Operator identity and jurisdiction must be confirmed before adoption. Mandatory consumer protections and applicable rights to bring proceedings in the consumer’s home jurisdiction are preserved.
If consumer distance-contract rights apply, statutory information, cancellation, withdrawal, and digital-service remedies must be provided. These terms do not waive withdrawal rights or substitute for a legally required cancellation or withdrawal mechanism.
Material changes require a dated update and appropriate advance notice. Changes will not retrospectively alter an already agreed transaction without a lawful basis. Final terms must be made available before agreement; the present draft does not record acceptance or amend an existing contract.
